The next government must wage a major public education campaign on China’s regional influence - and beyond : Comments

By Jeffrey Wall, published 20/5/2022

The Australian Government, principally through DFAT, has done a really poor job educating the Australian community on our regional relationships. and China's direct and growing challenge to our presence and influence.

I know the metaphor is overused, but this really does look like a case of ignoring the elephant in the room. Of course there's a need to educate the Australian public, but there's a far greater need to educate the Chinese public!

'Australian community' is educatable,
ttbn,
I'd be inclined to give that the benefit of the doubt but those in the actual education circles are definitely unfit for the positions they get overpaid for !
If Albo does indeed have the integrity he spruiks about then one of his first actions would need to be getting rid of these useless & sabotaging parasites. Alas, he already said how 'valuable" Public Servants are. He obviously forgot about those in education !
If only people would support any incumbent administration by helping filter the few good Public Servants from the horde of not so good. We should not forget for one moment that it is the small number of decent Public Servants who keep the nation functioning, not the many who are simply 'there' on the payroll.

Listening to GayBC radio just now about Albo's visit to Japan & discussions about the Solomons, it may just be that the change of Govt. here may have created an Olive branch with China. If China will by some chance ease off in the Solomon region then it'll not be down to Albo. It'll purely be down to the change of the Australian Govt.
