A 'privatised' review of the COVID pandemic is not the answer : Comments

By Scott Prasser, published 11/4/2022

All governments might be concerned what a royal commission might expose given their past record.

A Royal Commission is the only way. Who is going to trust unofficial groups with no powers and the possibility of having made money out of Covid. Philanthropists, my eye!

TTBN you are kind, far, far too kind!!
Billionaires who have made billions out of the fake plandemic are only doing this to keep the fraud hidden from us!
One proper enquiry could unwind so many fortunes and careers, including so many political ones!
The most disgusting nonsense just as the South Sea Bubble or Tulipomania were. Of course the politicians, media and billionaires who have profited from our distress and loss could then be open to being sued or more properly jailed.
Any ideas of how goodness can triumph over corruption?

I disagree! Just because a vocal minority disagreed with public health orders, doesn't mean we should have a royal commission into our response to a pandemic which has killed more folk (millions) around the world than two world wars.

Moreover, the shutdowns and closed borders have ensured our economy remained strong with the lowest unemployment rate for decades and local tourism more than offsetting international tourism! And something to think about going forward!

Well said. My cynicism must be slipping. I have no idea how goodness might triumph over corruption; there are just not enough good people.

The politicians will come out of any enquiry looking OK. That's because they hide behind 'experts'. They tell us they make their decisions 'based on the very best scientific advice' from public servants, usually failed medical practitioners who couldn't cope with private practice or hands-on activities in the public health sector. So, the 'experts' will be blamed for the politicians' cowardly circumventing of democracy, and quietly replaced.

An academic in Edinburgh, deemed to be an expert, said the other day that he hoped never to hear the phrase, 'based on the advice of experts' again.

Alan B, Covid made no difference to the average World mortality rate because the vast majority were over the median age of death anyway.
Our small businesses have been decimated as have tourism. Some tourism companies just closed down. You do know working one hour a week means to the government statistics that you are fully employed? Also travel has been curtailed because of your fellow nazi's unconstitutionally shutting Australia's borders?
Your support for governments who said two weeks to flatten the curve? That turned into two years and still going but now with daily cases of 300 infections down to only 10,000 daily cases. You must be demented to fall for all this baloney!
Hail the dear leader? Off to North Korea with you!

"The biggest surprise for me was how easily Westerners surrendered core liberties and freedoms to medical tyranny. The herdlike rush to panicked policies will necessitate a ROYAL COMMISSION to learn lessons, establish culpability and ensure accountability to prevent this ever happening again."
