Thanks Chin Jin, AlanB, ttbn. I'd have to understand Chin Jin's background more to understand more "the why" of his vision but he makes some good points. I'm not sure that I agree with his conclusion- "stop the war at all costs". Australia needs nuclear weapons- we can start with low cost low tech dirty bombs buried at hidden locations throughout Australia as a scorched earth deterrent.

You really can't blame Govt for that, it's the opposition that has perpetually condemned National Service ever since the Goaf won the election with promising to do away with NS.

Explain why haven't you called out your beloved Chinese citizens and its fascist leaders for their support for Russians killing Ukranian men, women and children civilians?

Explain why you haven't done the honest and decent thing and pointed out how the great American Presidents Roosvelt, Reagan and Trump F'd the fascist Germans, Soviets, Russians, Koreans, Islamists and the 'Climate change blowhards'.

When you have done that, in a balanced article then tell me why todays article, doesn't then mirror all the other pontificating blowhard 'activists' who in fact support the fascists among us.

Until then I'd support censorship of all your articles.

And believe me our biggest peril isn't the Chinese fascist communist leaders, it is the entire Chinese population who go along with, who don't criticise when warranted, who criticise inappropriately freedom loving governments and who silently cheer on their fascist leaderships.

'Maverick' that was the great lesson we freedom loving westerners learned, and have not forgotten, from the socialist rise in Germany in the 1930's before we eradicated them in WW11.

Seems to me china is on the same low trajectory.
