Well…Australia should aim for the possession of the keel on which to build a replica to stand as a monument to British Colonialism and its possession of a wasteland Cook named New South Wales, the paradise for land developers; (Heaven for them in fact), from which was to develop a free and glorious Nation inclusive of all (wink).

I believe that a replica has already been built and currently resides somewhere in Sydney Harbour.

Aah... How many times are they going to find the Endeavour. The first time was in 1995 then in about 2010. Now they've found it again. Same place, same Boat.

I would say this story is all about Funding. Again.
