By Steven Schwartz, published 5/1/2022

No matter how much time and effort we invest in schools and universities, practical wisdom will remain the rarest and most important skill of all.

I would suspect that we all have endured this sort of crap at one time or another.
As the saying goes "common sense is not very common".

So, why then are so many Universities indoctrinating students to forfeit common sense ?

Wrong security officer. I'm sure that there are some officials still capable of thinking for themselves who are not scared stiff of people who make silly laws that they won't have to enforce themselves: politicians and government clerks who never come face to face with other people not of their ilk.

As for the silly sheila in Medicare, why would anyone expect common sense from her? The public 'service' is no place to go looking for common sense - or any sense at all.

Hints for the day :- avoid, as much as possible, the "highly educated" twits coming out of institutions which are universities in name only, and be aware that only parents can teach common sense and social skills; but also be aware that for a couple of generations now, parents have outsourced all aspects of learning to Marxist school teachers, and that nothing is going to get better in the foreseeable future - if we have a future.

Yep…and that is exactly why calling a policeman for help is not recommended.

I wonder how many of the people who demonstrated years ago to change the system we're now fighting, are now speaking out against what they so wished for ?
