How can we allay fear in our community? : Comments

By James McKeon, published 21/10/2021

Given the wealth of research which runs counter to current Covid-19 health protocols in Australia, governments need to be held accountable by revealing the scientific evidence base for their restrictive practices.

You ally fear via education and not by just letting it rip through the elderly and frail on the assumption they are no longer valuable and have nothing left to contribute!

Let's hear what you and others like you think when you are 80? And the younger generation start to talk about you as if you are just part of the furniture or some such, long past its use-by date!

We ally fear via the removal of calloused indifference and monumental intellectual arrogance that pervades so much of today's medical community?

When you fly to your next appointment in a car with no wings nor propeller of any moving parts and learn that the Aircar was invented by an 80-year-old? Perhaps you'll start to value the wisdom and acumen of the DEVALUED elderly mind more than now?

Imagine how wonderful it would be if all the ambulances and emergency vehicles were airborne and not held up by gridlocked traffic! Or that you could go to any emergency anywhere at Mach 9 or 10? In a wingless propellerless vehicle no wider than a car?

Yes, it is possible and the science stacks up! And no, I keep no blueprints or files. just keep all those things in my head!

AND I AM NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER!

Those who want them, will need to pay handsomely to get access to them!

The Pilot in me imagines that many windows would be broken and dogs pi$$ed off if that ever eventuates?

Australia is highly unlikely to get Nuclear Power IMHO. The community and our politics are way too polarised on the matter. As such it will be endlessly debated, therefore never implemented.
Personally I would like to see modern well run Nuclear Power utilised to cover base load. ideally these plants would be located in the bowels of our various State Parliament buildings. Safety thus virtually guaranteed?

Great article pointing out what is obvious to me but seems hidden to most people. The biggest over reaction in the history of the Western world. We get nothing but slogans and propaganda from our rulers and their CHO's. Any discussion of the actual data appears to be out of bounds. The changes that have taken place based on this fear campaign are unprecedented in our history and taking us down a path towards a public health dictatorship. I don't think anyone thought two years ago that our freedoms to travel, work, leave our homes, visit our friends and relatives, attend weddings and funerals or leave our faces uncovered could be removed on such a flimsy pretext. The government now insists on tracking us everywhere we go. Our right to decide what will or won't be injected into our bodies is fast disappearing. I have just lost my job due to the WA vaccine mandate. A vaccine which neither prevents me catching the virus nor passing it on. Apparently I am simply too dangerous to be let loose around my fellow men. Where is the logic, reason or proportion?
