If you lived in SA you wouldn't think that the government had any responsibility at all for health. No matter which rubbish is in power, the health system is a nightmare. I'm glad I have private cover, but I could still pop my clogs waiting for a government ambulance, or I could die in one ramped outside a hospital. There is not much that governments can do better than the private sector.
