What didn't go wrong!?

First, the as ever inscrutable Chinese, tried to cover it up as if there was something to hide!?

Second, they did not close their borders, meaning a single Asymptomatic Chinese tourist was able to travel to Italy and begin to infect the unsuspecting public he encountered?

And so began the Italian pandemic and from there, spread through the rest of an unsuspecting Europe?

With many just declaring it another flu!

From there it spread to the four corners of the earth, with all that then followed. A greater death toll that to date, has created more casualties than two world wars. And resulted in health and mortuary systems being completely overwhelmed!

And the shocking scenes burned into our memories of mass graves and panic buying that simply beggared belief! Along with a death toll in frontline health workers, who sadly, did sign up for this!

We here in Oz dodged the bullet to a large extent through pure dumb luck! Even so, the Ruby Princess and the privileges of the wealthy allowed it ingress into here as has three-day quarantine for Asymptomatic airline crew and totally inadequate quarantine stations!

It' almost as if the ultra-privileged and vaccinated ruling class, wanted it to percolate through the elderly and disabled, so a to lessen the social security burden?

And in so doing reduce the social security burden as well as, create rivers of gold/feather nesting for corrupt and callous cronies that simply beggars belief? As does the patent politicisation of a pandemic. As does some motor mouths of some, media-savvy politic spokespersons, who try to avoid examination and responsibility?

I may well be entirely wrong but some of the salaries and bonuses accorded the management of these S.S. systems, leaves one wondering. TBC

Other things that went wrong, was the reaction of some of the ultra-conservative ruling class! With dumb as Donald in the front of an unfit to govern, power-hungry, elected, would be if they could be, dictators, who would rule the world?

And includes some if not all the following, China, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, The USA, the UK, Myanmar and Belarusian? As our so-called leader reacted with words and endless no-core promise and the biggest spend in the history of federation that will leave little if any legacy, to show for this outlay of taxpayer funds!?

Where is the nation-building rapid rail we could have built with a modest portion of this mind-boggling, truly massive outlay?

The nation-building inland canal, the still missing, genuine tax reform and fit for purpose quarantine stations, nation-building, economy saving, social housing and the nation-building, turbocharging energy policy we have to have, along with the decarb of the economy!

Instead, all we've gotten by and large has been the endless press conferences, Photo ops, albeit, not too many from, I can't hold a hose, Honolulu or Hawaii?

But, endless promises like rabbits caught in the spotlight, do little more than scurry in frightened circles!? And go, Blah, blah, blah, blankety blah, smirk, smirk.

After all, we can't eliminate this forever mutating, deadly killer virus? And a nonsense in the face of safe effective therapeutics, that kills 99.99% of any coronavirus load including the common cold, carried by already infected people! And here's is where we need o ramp up the R+D the production facilities and the clinical trials!

instead of ramping up the production and testing of these, our pollies go on the charm offensive and obfuscate as never before!?

If this thing keeps mutating and it will! A new variant could do what other pathogens have done to antibiotics? And like golden staph, become totally resistant to every vaccine in the war chest? This is why we need to get right on top of this thing!

Given who knows what letting this thing move and mutate will do and who it will kill or permanently harm? [Ever seen what oxygen starvation can do to the brain and other human organs?]

By just not allowing t to cross national borders with all the economic harm that flows from that! And given its longevity outside a human host! Make sure all incoming exports are disinfected (ozone purging) and UV irradiation Or something superior, say perhaps, several days of fresh air and sunlight exposure.

Then because we have an injection that appears to kill 99.99% of all coronaviruses, ramp up the clinical trials and mass production. And indeed the anticoagulant nasal spray that prevents clots that seem to have made some folk fearful of the jab!?

And given it is old out of patent medicine that has been long approved for human use, if slightly retasked in a new role, of providing a reasonable level of protection and ensure blood clotting due to vaccination, never ever becomes an issue!

Even blind Freedy can see that and the need for better quarantine solutions! Just not the people, who shout and thump the parliament lecterns as they seek to score political points and blame shift all over the joint! As they eke out the vaccine uptake and the quick Slavia test and home kits

And as they have done since day one, use the taxpayer funds to simply shore up political position and careers? And not too much else, save prevaricate, pontificate and posture? And stand united and resolute in a determined role to do little of real effective substance? Except, be at the head of the queue for the most effective treatments. vaccines?

And if the cap fits?

The government claims it cannot locate quarantine station in small rural or remote regions? Why? They say they need to be close to a large metropolitan hospital!

I see a very different reason and I speak a someone very familiar with emergency medical care. I see a government obsessed with shifting and duck shoving their exclusive responsibility for quarantine onto the states? And ensure any death toll can be laid at their feet as much as possible? So they can rabbit on about closed borders, and the economic harm etc?

Now it strikes me that the cruise line business is broken and there could be a number of relatively modern vessels we could buy at fire-sale prices? Then outfit them as floating frontline hospitals Why as floating vessels and in harbour, if they were nuclear powered or so converted? They could use considerable surplus power to convert seawater to on-demand oxygen.

And if these ships included bed hoods and respirators and staff fully vaccinated. And the medicine cabinets contained clot buster, anticoagulant nasal spray, plus injections that kill 99.99% of all coronaviruses!

They could serve island quarantine! And whats more, ensure only federal government was running our quarantine and all necessary associated health requirements. This model would serve many other applications apart from ensuring that we could eliminate human to human transmission.

It is claimed by the experts that this virus will be with us forever? And means that this type of investment and infrastructure will, if regularly updated/modernised, serve countless future generations and prevent the very economically harmful lockdowns of the future and as appropriate, serve our interests abroad in reasonably safe locations?

All that prevents this vastly more sane scenario is the blind stubbornness of control-freak pollies?
