1. CORRECTION: Netanyahu first became Prime Minister on 31 March 2009.
2. On corruption, shows how PMs of Israel's democracy are held legally accountable. This is compared to other Middle Eastern leaders who are mostly Kings or Military Dictators and thus are effectively Above The Law: On Netanyahu's alleged corruption: "Since December 2016, Netanyahu has been under investigation for corruption by Israeli police and prosecutors. On 21 November 2019, he was indicted on charges of breach of trust, bribery and fraud. Due to the indictment, Netanyahu is legally required to relinquish all of his ministry posts other than the prime minister position". Netanyahu seems the leading current head of government in the world who should be put on trial for war type crimes. Not be made Prime Minister again. Especially considering corruption allegations against him for which I have not recently checked progress of prosecution. Also note his efforts trying to manipulate other countries - particularly the US into fighting wars for what under his government amounts to the Criminal Apartheid Zionist Settler State in Occupied Palestine. Note some decent Jews oppose more than just this -ie think there should not be a Jewish state. Especially one that can only be maintained with continuing military force against Palestinian rightful owners of the land. Little if any special policing is necessary to protect Jews living in other countries from locals.

Netanyahu is a totally corrupt, venal, lying, deceitful, disgrace of a leader who only holds his position because of the fears he feeds the Israeli people.

The UK's Independent reports 24 March (Aus Eastern time) http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israel-elections-live-polls-news-voting-b1820925.html
"Polls have opened in Israel’s fourth election in two years, with long-serving prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu hoping to win enough seats to form a coalition government. The vote comes after two deadlocked elections and the breakdown of a national unity government formed in May 2020. The power-sharing arrangement struck by Mr Netanyahu’s Likud party and Benny Gantz’s Blue and White alliance broke down after seven months of infighting. The current prime minister is looking to gain a parliamentary majority in the 120-seat Knesset by entering into a right-wing coalition with ultra-Orthodox and nationalist allies. He seeks to sway voters by relying on the success of Israel’s vaccine rollout and the normalisation deals agreed recently with several countries in the Middle East. However, many Israelis would like to see the back of their longest-serving leader, who is accused of corruption, charges which he denies. Mr Netanyahu’s strongest opponent in Tuesday’s election is his former finance minister Yair Lapid, whose Yesh Atid party broke with Blue and White after it went against a promise not to form a government with Likud." Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu is the natural leader of Israel and has been since 2005 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Netanyahu
Netanyahu is the epitome of the fighting Israeli having been in the Israeli Special Forces, Sayeret Matkal, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sayeret_Matkal#Notable_members
Netanyahu's alleged corruption involvement (even if true) is a small price to pay for his ongoing service to Israel.
As David notes Trump and Netanyahu pursuing the Abraham Accords is a major US and Israeli foreign policy achievement. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Accords
