India's agricultural woes can only be solved if opposition political parties consider the national interest not their own partisan interests

Yes, it's an absolute shambles chained to ignorance and primitive superstition. The missing elements are universal education, and energy even the poorest can afford. And that energy can't come from wood or any of the fossil fuels!

A good start in the right direction has to be nuclear energy in MS thorium reactors! If Indonesia can! Anybody can!

If the energy is cheap enough, reliable enough, the safest of all time!

Then electric tractors, trains, taxis and school buses will follow along with washing machines and ovens/stoves/computers in every household! And electric cattle dung collectors in every village or council? And sent to treatment to supply endless biogas from which they can make fertilizer and plastics.

Byproducts being thoroughly sanitized, carbon-rich soil improver and nutrient-rich and reusable nutrient-rich irrigation water! That's suitable for some hydroponics or fodder sheds?
