Supreme Court inaction could trigger appointment of special counsel : Comments

By David Singer, published 30/12/2020

The Supreme Court of the United States of America seems to be trying to avoid ruling on critical issues by delaying consideration until they are out of time.

As you've been loyal Trumpsters for 4 long years I begrudge a late Chrissie present for each of youse.

THE PRESENT

Actual footage of Trump in his Führer Bunker last week. Trump took a day off 13 solid days of GOLF while his countrymen die in their 1000s each day for want of Presidential Pandemic Leadership...

Dear David,

.

You ask :

« Will Trump's Petition – like so many cases contesting the election result in other jurisdictions - be dismissed because it was lodged too late? »
.

I don’t see that as a problem for Trump (alias Captain Ahab), David. As long as the money keeps rolling in, he will have attained his objective :

Weird article! You say the inaction could trigger appointment of special counsel, but you don't explain how, nor what that special counsel could do.

Trump lost the election. He's not going to win it in the courts no matter how fast they act.

OLO is blessed with so many people, whose intelligence is usually otherwise either questioned or laughed away, who know so much more about the US Constitution than the US Supreme Court justices whose duty is supposed to be to interpret it.

Thank goodness that the citizens of Betoota and Oodnagalarby can give us the enormous benefits of their wisdom.
