China’s ‘debt-trap diplomacy’ is about to challenge Papua New Guinea - and Australia : Comments

At a time of fiscal vulnerability, PNG is getting entangled with Chinese debt -which will inevitably involve some difficult decisions for the Australian government down the line.

International policy did SFA about Germany in 1938. As the disbelieving world was catapulted into WW11! Anyone who cannot see the similarities and our increasingly dangerous position, has to be, either willfully blind or a moribund moron?

We need to see that Jonny come lately has muscled into our Antartic territory with no beg pardons, as if it was their imperial right?

That they have no respect for international conventions or law or the sovereign rights of others? That they have a history of unparralled abuse of human rights?

We can choose to appease, sell/give them what they want, continue to turn a blind eye to their unlawful activities? And cheque book diplomacy?

Or as we must now do, arm ourselves with nuclear weapons and nuclear powered subs! And turn on the charm offensive as we covertly do so? Not even the Australian public need be informed until we are a nuclear power with our own nuclear arsenal until it is fact! And (cheaper than coal MSR thorium) nuclear power, powering a now absolutely essential, robust manufacturing sector!

Let's not forget, it's easier to ask forgiveness after the deed, than for permission before it! Before Honest John Howard introduced his GST, there was only a 13% approval rating for it, he introduced anyway with a BS mandate? And justified it as tax reform we had to have!

Anybody with half a brain, understands permission is never ever going to be forthcoming! Don't just do somthing, stand there!

Has anybody heard from Andrew Forrest on this subject?

Maybe he can sneak a couple of Chinese into PNG's parliament to make some speeches like what happened in Melbourne at Greg Hunt news briefing.

Then we can send Gladys Berejiklian up there to show the PNG government how to swamp Port Moresby with cashed up Chinese similar to what happened in Sydney.

PNG Independence Day tomorrow. Good day to reflect on the Goaf's Govt commitment to give $1.2 million/day to that nation & considering it's been 45 years now, that's not a bad little amount handed over till now.
I wonder if that money would have prevented the dumbing down had it been given to Aus Education ?
