'Obfuscation' is a polite word for lying/cover up. All our politicians, not just the extreme Left lot in Victoria, have been lying and covering up where the Chinese virus is involved.

The difference between the major political parties is only one of degree, the Coalition’s being very bad and Labor’s even worse.

But, ultimately, the mess this country is in is the responsibility of Australian citizens, who have meekly allowed politicians to suspend democracy and human rights over a virus that is not even in the top 20 killers.

Those on the extreme right can not help themselves can they? They are the masters of outsourcing former government duties and obligations!

Yet when Chairman Andrews does it and it backfires as it has! Personal responsibility and ownership of outcomes of those "security guards" goes out the window!

Did Andrews give anyone permission to disregard the rules or his instructions?

No he did not! So how is he to blame?

However, the radio waves were jam-packed full of right wing media posionalities, rubbishing Andrews and his take on a killer virus!

It was all a consiracy to shut down the economy, which as you all know, is vastly more important than a few baby boomer, old farts!

And the reason those old farts were never more than economic units, to be bleed white until the day they died! In privatised, highly profitable, nursing homes!

So the share holding parasites can wax fat?

Helped by government subsidies and funding pulled from the entire sector to the almost exclusive detriment of the not for profit sector!

If one wants to see where all the tricks, skullduggery, smoke and mirrors are? One need look no further than the right wing commentary and action in government?

And where the most important thing is to stick th boot into Andrews and score a few cheap and sordid, political points!

Now Chairman Dan is trying to rewrite history.

The twerp is trying to claim that Morrison never offered Victoria the police or army to control the quarantine hotels. That there is clear evidence that this was offered and and Covidan acknowledged this publically.

Typical Labor

Governments seem to have the idea they can do what they like.
Take the WA government, they have brought in legislation that they can do
what they like in their dispute with Clive Palmer.
It even gives them criminal immunity.
To solve their problem they can shoot him with no penalty !
No trial no conviction, the parliament has approved this.
Of course they say it is only so they can refuse to pay what might
be judged they owe his company that has 5000 shareholders.
They could however round up the 5000 and execute them and not be guilty !
To say it is surreal is an understatement but there it is !
It is a Labour Government isn't it ?
The Libs & Nats voted for it also.

The most alarming thing about all this is how easily Australians have been convinced that the government has the right to remove most of their freedoms on no more than a whim.

Taiwan, also an island, with a similar population, has so far only 441 cases of China virus and only 7 deaths. That is, an infection rate of 6% of Australia’s, and a death rate of 7% of Australia’s. Taiwan is much close to Wuhan.

Taiwan’s result has been far superior to Australia’s with their strict quarantining, banning of cruise ships and tracing carriers, plus voluntary personal distancing. No lockdowns.

Taiwan’s economy has not been wrecked, by its government, as Australia’s has - by politicians and ‘experts’ posing as heroes.

The scandal is actually the mass death 'Covid-19' pandemic that does not exist.
It is the coronavirus flu that has been manipulated.
The hotel quarantine scandal is a trick.
How many people caught the flu today?

Just as Andrews has his scandal in hotel quarantine, Morrison has his in aged care, and Berejiklian has her Ruby Princess. Unfortunately when it comes to a medical crises, you can't take the politics out of politicians. The daily ritual of our leaders fronting the cameras, then the wringing of hands begins, followed by the gnashing of teeth. This is followed by some kind of contrived platitude of sorrow such as; "I am sorry to report another dozen bods have cark-it overnight, mostly old farts on their last legs anyway...our thoughts and prayers are with their relos, and they shall be forever in our hearts....but don't forget, vote for me at the next election." maybe I am a bit over the top with that, and politicians, like the rest of us do have feelings for our fellow man.

When it comes to the efforts of our leaders in handling the pandemic its my opinion they have been adequate, but nothing outstanding. The politicians are like the school boy who gets a "D minus" on his term paper, then proceeds to wave it around in the air, like as if its an "A plus" all awhile loudly proclaiming "I am the smartest kid in the class!"

Yes Paul, nailed it and even as he waves his exam D minus, results, the
foreign school bully is out there, giving him what for, then sticking the boot in while he is down.

Or if you will, pretending that it's just a flu! And manipulated to kill the economy! I could say, shite for brains? But that would be too polite!

A nation divided amoung itself, cannot stand. And some folk, in far off (Russian/Chinese) rooms are doing an excellent, [divide and conquer,] job on that front, aren't they? With excellent help from their broadcasting RW stooges? And if the cap fits?
