nothing strange about doing to others what you want done to yourself Joe. If you thinks its ok for 'peaceful' tyrants to smash up the cars of everyone that does not agree to your ideology I find that a much stranger notion of morality. Then again with TDS nothing surprises me.

It's called poetic justice !

In my opinion, the Left & it's philosophies no, let's make that mentality, is by far the worst infliction plaguing societies in modern History.
The Bible tells us they will be dealt with eventually. Meanwhile they're allowed to ruin our lives !

Pinker does very nicely, thank you, by speaking comfort to power.

The things he says are true. But they miss a key point. The economists require expansive growth on the non-expansive planet. And they're winning.

A scientist should be sceptical. Not accommodating. Endless growth is primarily to enrich the rich. Not to "lift billions out of poverty".
