The Black Death is here to stay : Comments

By Peter Curson, published 17/7/2020

The truth is that Bubonic Plague has never disappeared and is here to stay. In addition, believe it or not, Bubonic Plague is today more geographically widespread in our world than at any time in the previous 1000 years.

Bubonic plague!

This is just the excuse Soot 'Beam up me Scotty' Morrison has been looking for.

Now he can lock down Parliament FOREVER and become the dictator he always wanted to be.

Mr. Opinion,

I'm not always sure whether you are serious or not. In this case, given the character of Mussolini Morrison, I'm going for serious.

Misopinionated,

You may have to find a bit more evidence for your latest conspiracy theory. 'FOREVER' ?

But they're fun, aren't they ? You can shoot your mouth off with no need to prove or demonstrate anything.

And then most of us move on from primary school.

We don't print money! What we do is create bitcoin with a few strokes at a computer, and with that, plucked from thin air, money or dirivites of actual money, we issue reserve bank cheques.

And recognised the length and breath of the economy as legal tender. And not only have reputable economists proposed it, but other nations or regional economies have used it. And indeed paid a non taxed regional economy a non taxed citezenary, a fully franked dividend at years end from the income earned! Which each citizen share in equal proportion! And worthnthe international airfare to get back there post haste!

But hey, some folks like paying tax and running massive national tax burdens, because thy are the smartest folk in the neighbourhood! I get that, OK!?

But hey there are folk here who don't know their history! Or more precisely, Canada's, can't conceive of a system of public ownership and income earnt that entirely replaces any tax burden.

Because, and wait for it, we've allus done what we do! Except we did things a little differently at one time and as a consequence entered a post war period of unprecedented economic expansion and unparalleled prosperity!

Moreover not only as debt free nation but rather a ceditor one at that and the third largest economy on earth!

But there are ironclad rules! First you need large (a) national resource(s) and a modest population. Then spend it on income earning infrastructure you build with this legal tender. Which once built, cancel the issue by replacing it with (a) valuable asset(s) that appreciates with time. And can never ever be privatised. What you need is something which costs mucho plenty, say like an eastern coast VTL.

And given that nation and economy building choice, plough huge amounts of safe legal tender into the economy without creating inflation and without the need to borrow from anyone or service debt for centuries. (Our current model) Leave you with it.

Alan,

With all due respect all responsible reserve banks control the "money" in circulation very carefully to control inflation, which if you had any real economic training you would realise. Too much and the inevitable result is an increase in inflation which has been proven in practise many times.
