The legislated outlawing of all nonproductive profit demanding paper shuffling middlemen and most wholesalers would halve the cost of living and doing most business with savings that could be passed on and indeed with higher profit margins that enable increased employment opportunities. That, in turn, put downward pressure on all poverty outcomes!
And would be further assisted by the legislated outlawing of commission sales! Which is a recipe for jacking up margins!
Whereas, if all sales staff received a salary? Margins would be replaced by volume as the incentive for margins is made redundant and volume is the most profitable way!
Recycling could be one of the most profitable industries if the energy relied on, was cheap enough! And where MSR thorium would be the answer!
When the energy bill became greater than the wages bill! All sorts of industry was obliged to offshore! And because do nothing complicit pollies allowed or actively encouraged this outcome for unfathomable reasons, beyond sane comprehension!
