A plausible upper bound scenario would see Australia’s private consumption collapse by up to 20 per cent on 2019 levels (total $1.1 trillion) which would represent a loss of $220 billion to GDP.

When things normalise we will need to bring in a lot more cashed up Chinese migrants to offset the economic impact of the Great Wuhan Pandemic Meltdown.

I reckon we'll need to bring in about 10 million over the first 5 years then ease back to a comfortable 1 million per year thereafter. A people driven demand policy has been in place for the past three decades so why stop. Just need to increase the numbers.

And I'm sure that is what they will do. Especially NSW. And especially residential development: got to put all those little Fongs somewhere! 'Demand Drives Growth' is the motto.
