Killing Soleimani undermines global order : Comments
By Alon Ben-Meir, published 23/1/2020This begs the question as to what sort of global order we will have left if the leaders of one country eliminate the leaders of another simply because they deem them ruthless.

Then it remains to be seen what the long effect of this will be on Trump's re election prospects. Apparently General Soleimani had a succession plan in place in case he was killed as sometimes he visited the front line in military operations. Seems with his Deputy taking over as Quds commander, its military capabilities are unlikely to be adversely affected. Then important to note that instead of throwing resistance to US hegemony in the Middle East into disarray as apparently intended, this seems to be having the opposite effect. ie Uniting various groups who have long records of disputes -even including wars against each other and direct their efforts to driving the US military out of their area.
Seems the US "Deep State" has a record of attempting many assassinations of political leaders from various bits of apparent evidence. However, this one may be the first admission of being responsible for a successful effort. For a start, even some of their own Presidents. Including Warren Harding in the 1920's. and John F Kennedy. The latter had opposed proposed military intervention in Vietnam which the "Deep State" wanted. Also commenced dismantling the privately owned racket controlling the US money supply, the Federal Reserve. Among the first things Vice President Lyndon Johnson did on taking office was restore it and also start a war in Vietnam by peddling some deliberate lies.
There seems one high level political leader who
