The threat of a new infectious world : Comments

By Peter Curson, published 28/8/2019

Our failure to recognise that microbes are the dominant species on our earth possessing the ability to mutate change and adapt to anything we might level at them remains a major hurdle.

There are positives in everything.
Might assist in controlling Homo Sapiens` out of control population increase.
Nothing else seems to be able to.

We need to return to the future and past practice, where disinfection was carried out with better hygienic standards, elbow grease, boiling water, steam and sunlight! And much natural costless, if time-consuming, disinfection.

Oxygen is implicated in all healing and massively underutilized, due to the energy bill require to first distil it from the atmosphere or by the decomposition of water. Then used in hyperbaric chambers to treat all manner o,f none oxygen tolerant, infections.

Then there's all but forbidden but just as efficacious as ever, chelation therapy. Chelation therapy claws out more than just plaque and many precipitated minerals from the arteries but several essential minerals and vitamins? Which must be replaced with supplements!?

Given the proposed suggested treatment opens up the arteries as described, it also follows that the oxygen flow would also be increased, along with all the benefits of such natural (big pharma free) remediation!?

In conclusion, one notes some municipalities still use oxygen alone to thoroughly disinfect, town water supplies!

Me? I prefer ozone made on-site with an ozone generator magnetic coils and UV!

Individual, agree with ateday as much as you like, always providing you two are first among those targeted by mutating killer microbes.

Be careful what you wish for!

To date, the only population control and reduction that's proven 100% effective has been the managed economic improvement in targeted populations.

[That you just don't get that? speaks volumes for your intelligence, or lack thereof?]

assisted in all cases by ensuring the female population is also educated and not simply treated as slaves or beasts of burden without any real rights!

but given ateday's and individuals response from the craven coward's protection of autonomy, one simply has to conclude, they find the foregoing stone age treatment of female populations, acceptable? Polly want a cracker?

Alan B,
And, where has that been successfully implemented ?

mhaze,
Ahem to you too. In these countries medicine has been keeping more people alive for longer, too many of which are not even of any use to the society ! I wouldn't call that successful population control. In other countries too, more & more people are added on a minute to minute basis. Success you reckon ? Or, have you forgotten that we're talking about population control, not out of control ?

"medicine has been keeping more people alive for longer, too many of which are not even of any use to the society !"

So a life is only valuable if it has societal uses? Wow! Ever heard of eugenics? There's just nothing to explain how anti-human that type of thinking is.

I suspect you're the type that hasn't looked at any actual data on this lest it interfere with what you want to be true but just for fun....

* the natural population increase in Europe is -0.7% (that's a decrease) and project to go to - 3.2% within a decade.

* in Australia its +4.8%, down from 8.1 in 2000, and projected to go negative by 2035

* in Japan its -2.1%

by contrast, in those countries well known for keeping people alive due to modern medicine...

* Uganda +32.7%
* Angola +35%
* Ethiopia 29.3%

and so on.

Countries with high natural population increases are undeveloped countries.

Countries with low natural population increases are highly developed countries.

Its evidence beyond dispute unless you decide you'd prefer to ignore the evidence.

mhaze,
Of course modern medicine is fantastic but does it feed & house those people as well ?
You'll find most people are in favour of a healthier society, they just realise that even a healthier society is heading for disaster if there are too many people.
You should read Dr Hans Hass' Letter to the women of the World". It explains it all.

"Yes, you ever heard of putting your money where your mouth is ?"

Huh? In context I have no idea what that means.

I suspect that makes two of us.
