Let's not kid ourselves that our own politicians and 'authorities' are any better prepared.

Whats the connection between this bombing, the 1994 Mumbai bombing and the Australian Ibrahim family (if any)
Write me some real news Binoy. "The mastermind of the suicide bomb plot is now believed to have been Inshaf Ibrahim" http://www.news.com.au/world/asia/pregnant-wife-of-sri-lanka-bomber-detonates-suicide-vest-during-raids-killing-her-children-and-three-police-officers/news-story/2c37c204a8bb080d79275347f786f458 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_Bombay_bombings "The attacks were coordinated by Dawood Ibrahim, leader of the Mumbai-based international organized crime syndicate, D-Company." the recent earth worshippers protesting a fake cause (man made gw) took up about 9000 policeman in the worlds knifing capital London. We have no hope of addressing the increasing threats of terrorism when you have so many dumbed down leftist think they are doing the planet a favour while diverting resources from real issues (Islamic terrorism). The West is stuffed.

The New Zealand attack was against muslims while Sri Lankan attacks against Easter worshippers. What is it with these Christophobes. Are they afraid to even acknowledge Christian persecution from Islamist. I suppose they are by and large one with the Islamist. Certainly secularism and Islam have much in common with its dishonest representations.

The potential split between the president and Prime Minister; as well as apparent loss of vital information up the chain of comand from the security intelligence sector, are big government sized issues that are probabley common in most of our modern day governments. Goes to the point of some wise observations. A house divided can not stand. If the differences within a governing body keep it from working together then that will give an oppurtunity to terrorists to successfully kill hundreds of people. Where as if the government inspite of political power grabs still works together, then that will more often then not catch the planned terrorist activities before they have the oppurtunity to act.
Though that kind of coordination might not have saved Sri Lanka. One of the statements from this article is that Sir Lanka has no military back up, or investigative departments outside of the police. So much death from another suicide bombing. Anyone who says that sucide bombings are not a threat any more should wake up. Everything in Islam is a threat. If for no other reason because the Islamic leaders and teachers don't discourage this kind of terror, but instead advocate for more of it. No one will know if someone is going to be one an Islamic terrorist, or will be a peaceful Muslim. Thus making all Muslims a threat because there's nothing to distinguish the peaceful from the increasingly popular violent movements. Posted by Not_Now.Soon, Friday, 26 April 2019 3:25:07 AM

It's appalling that there is so little comment about the massacre of innocent Christian men, women and children in Sri Lanka by Islamist fascists. In comparison, there were a number of threads on OLO about the massacre of innocent Muslim men, women and children by a White-supremacist fascist in Christchurch.
Fascists feed each other. In fact, they need each other. Both are pre-civilized, with the psychotic philosophy that if someone from group A kills someone from my group, B, then I can kill anybody from group A - man, woman or child, innocent or guilty of some offence, it doesn't matter. This is fascism, pure and simple: collective, or group guilt for the actions of someone assumed to be part of a group, whatever 'group' might mean. If I believed in conspiracy theories of any sort, I would suspect that there were deranged people all around the world who believed in the End of Days, the Apocalypse, Armageddon, whatev, who were co-ordinating their fascist attacks, on a sort of tit-for-tat basis - Gramscian fascists bringing down bourgeois society on the "Left', god-knows-what fruit-cakes plotting to destroy all human societies on the Right and replace them with their gods' heaven-on-earth. Surely not. Joe Posted by Loudmouth, Sunday, 28 April 2019 6:30:24 PM

Much easier to blame poor security than the obvious Islamic motivation for the massacres
