Oversold lithium could be about to rally : Comments

By Alex Kimani, published 4/2/2019

It's been a decade of lows for commodities after posting 7 declines in 11 years, but we've seriously underestimated lithium. It's back with a vengeance in 2019.

Well Altrave, here is the only conclusion I have been able to reach. A conventional 350 MW reactor requires 2551 tons of fuel that's nearly as rare as platinum and nearly as expensive, during a thirty-year operational life. And from that many billions worth of fabricated fuel, produces over 2550 tons of waste.

Conversely MSR thorium (a FUJI 350 MW) will burn during a comparative thirty-year operational lifetime, just one ton of fuel and produce from that less than 1% as waste. And given the lithium and beryllium content. eminently suitable as long life space batteries

Given the money big nuclear earns from the enrichment and assembly of the fuel rods. Their primary business model!

Something like walk away safe MSR thorium that requires no fabrication destroys a multi-billion dollar industry and surely puts the fossil fuel industry to the wall along with a bunch of parasitical politicians, whose palms are surely greased by the aforementioned!?

And let's not forget big pharma who stand to lose billions in palliative care for dying but still curable cancer patients. The profit curve is threatened all over the place and consequently, thorium is opposed by the aforementioned and the ideology-driven rent-a-crowd from "renewables".

And I believe for personally commercial reasons!? And to hell with the death toll!

When you can see the whole picture? Little wonder there are just a few voices in the wilderness crying out for this, so we at least can look our kids in the eye and say to them, I/we gave my/our best shot with all that I/we had and until I/they had nothing left.

Cause I'll keep trying to reach folk, one by one, to just get them to at least look at the verifiable validated facts with eyes wide open and objective! Pete?

Alan, surely there must be some heavyweights out there who are not afraid of these govt and lobbyist scumbags.
It may cause disgust amongst the fairies and ignorant, but I promote the concept of attacking these pricks, physically, and with prejudice with the ultimate aim of causing them grieves bodily harm.
I believe this method will remind these scum-bags of their wrong doing, every time they look in the mirror.
As I said, I feel frustration for you and your good intentions.
Aussies, are amongst the worst in the world, for being the laziest, slackest, ignorant, selfish, entitled bunch of morons ever conceived.
We are getting ripped off year after year, again and again, has anything been done to reform our essential services, such as repatriating them back into public ownership?
NO, and in fact they just keep putting up the prices as if a form of torture.
So as a penalty, they must be confiscated or requisitioned with NO financial regard.
They've stolen enough money off us already.
Let the money they have stolen so far, be the payment in lieu.
