Christensen's individualist acceptance is standard form for industries that have found certain costs and regulations unnecessary and damaging to the purse strings.

There ought to be a sugar tax that then becomes industry finance for subsidised ethanol production. And consequently, petrol products with 10%+ ethanol could cost less than standard petrol. This is the way to reduce our personal calorific intake and instead put it in our tanks via incentive! As well as creating more jobs and new products based on ethanol. Without harming the industry! It's a no-brainer! How about a hybrid that uses pure ethanol instead of petrol? Alan B.

Watch out sugar!

You have been placed on the target range, for all the dills that shoot at CO2 to shoot at.

These dills need something other than their own failings & stupidity to protest against. It gives them a totally unwarranted feeling of superiority, & allows them to avoid looking at themselves & their failings. Obviously they have to have these targets highlighted by some other dills working in universities, & broadcast by idiots like those employed by our ABC.

Alan don't be a fool.

Why would you want to use ethanol in your fuel. To start with it is a nasty corrosive liquid. Secondly with your belief in CO2 caused global warming, it is now well established that producing & using it as a fuel liberates more CO2 than does using petroleum. Using it is totally counter productive.

I never will understand how people with an active Google finger can get things so wrong.

From the moment you're born all life's pleasures will eventually kill you!

Smoking, alcohol, Thorium of course.

And even sex (married or not) too often leads to expensive legal, asset stripping, outcomes.

ITS CHEAPER instead. To watch a sports car and ELLE MacPHERSON? gobbing a Magnum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZM4rfqcHtNo

Eat sugar.

Its cheaper than all the above, except Elle.

Forgive me Elle

The mismentioned Magnum muncher is, in fact, Rachel Bilson [1].

How can you ever repay me?

Hasbeen. Been addressing the mirror again eh? Given your commentary clearly addressed at all the troglodytes commenting here? Of which you are the Granddaddy of them all. Replete with a sugar-induced, mouthful of rotten teeth and an impressive waistline? You'll have a nice day now y'hear Alan B.
