Indulgent violence: the legacy of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 9/4/2018

Her hands dripped with the blood of South Africa's people, went a reflective Xoliswa Falati, who formerly knew her and claimed to have gone to prison for her.

She was a dreadful woman, best forgotten.

A Psychopath? Her hands dripping in blood? And her often blood soaked history largely undisputed dissed or ignored? XXX But this is what you get in the struggle for power in a primitive culture struggling for freedom from equally terrible and unfeeling white/colonial oppression? XXX Even so how much better are our CIVILISED Brothers and sisters/the ruling class as they advocate for more coal fired power and the growing death toll that flows from that? XXX None of my doing they say just the result of tragic unforseen circumstances etc.? XXX To date the ruling class to a virtual generic man has blood on its hands? Some of it the result of this eternal kowtow to unearnt wealth, privilege and ubiquitous, succeed at any price, greed? XXX Thus hundreds die in manmade heatwaves, thousands by just being denied critical nuclear medicine that could be made available along with the stroke of a ruling politician's pen? XXX Not my fault they chorus? Well then who's blamed fault is it then? XXX That blamed Mr. Nobody again? XXX When are we going to stop accepting this BS and make our ruling politicians actually accountable for the literal consequences of their actions or inaction! instead OF REWARDING THEM WIH REELECTION AND A LIFETIME OF UNEARNT, UNDESERVED PIVILEGE AND ENTITLEMENTS XXX Alan B.

Sad country getting more sad.

Proves that reconcilliation is a sick joke.

I'm waiting for the day another reflective skinned person "apologises" to some or another "non reflective" group for what was done to them 100, 200, 300 years ago !

We see yet more of the special treatment meted out by our masters to quell any dissonance regarding the Land Rights for Aboriginal, Left Handed Lesbian Harp Seals Brigade who are blameless in any given circumstance.

Is the Italian government "apologising" to the Welsh for what the Romans did to them a couple of millennia ago ? No, bloody Romans, what did the Romans ever do for us ?

Did we see the British Parliament, (PM Teresa May) stand up in the House of Commons and apologise to the Scots farmers whose families were shot, bayonetted, raped and murdered by their landlords & agents in the Highlands Clearings?

What next ? Will Jewellery Bigshot, our Foreign Minister, shell out a few $ Aus billion in 'aid' to assist poor Winnie ?

And oh my dizzy aunt... the First Nations W#nkfest that was the opening of the Commonwealth Games...so droll, so boring, so predictably numbing was the parade of acknowledging this tribe, that tribe and all the tedious 'welcome to country' smoking...what about the poor asthmatics in the crowd?

I see the Mandurah (WA) Council is now considering re-naming all the local custodian/traditional owners language signage. Places like Mandjoogoordap which are nigh on impossible for people to remember, let alone pronounce when asking for assistance from the RAC or emergency services.

Never let it be said that common sense, let alone 'equality' was considered at any time in all of this.
