Well most of the so-called refugees are from Syria not Iraq. And Syria is what happens when the west (specifically the USA) decides to NOT get involved.

The other major contingent is from North Africa where again the west elected to not get involved. Well other than Libya which the Obama regime decided to bomb for fun and fortune. But the NA refugees are from locales other than Libya.

Australia is so far fortunate to have had a PM who was prepared to operate in the best interests of Australia, to stop the boats (despite being told by our elite that it wasn't possible) and to set our foreign policy to suit our needs rather than that of the international left. Despite his removal, the wide popularity of that policy has stopped his succesors from moving to change the policy stance. But its just a matter of time before they gauge that the electorate has forgotten why the policy is there and then we'll be in the same position as Europe.

I think you have things twisted.

Ghaddifi was like the 'plug' in North Africa.
He made sure Europe wasn't flooded with refugees.
I think the entire Arab Spring was simply a cover for Israel to find a way to get rid of Assad.
Under the cover of 'Arab Spring' they could plead ignorance and say 'It wasn't us'.
But the US started the Arab Spring and I think a big part of it was Hillary wanted Ghaddafi's gold.
Certainly they wanted to look after their petrodollar.

Equality isn't garbage and isn't a threat to anyone. There are two problems: firstly, political correctness has deterred countries from properly enforcing their own laws. Secondly the immigrants aren't getting properly screened to exclude those who are a threat to the country.

The reason I say 'equality is bs' is because todays equality is based on equality of outcome.

If you take from one person to give to another, that's not equality.
