Conservatives are horrified that multiple members of the parliamentary wing are enthusiastic supporters of such reality bending concepts as gay marriage.

10,00 ways eh? That's roughly the entire membership of the true regressive conservatives here in Oz?

I mean you almost need to go back to Disraeli to find true progressive, reform minded conservatives, who to a virtual man, were both conservative and Christian as allegedly taught and espoused by Jesus!

If you and your ilk feel so strongly about this one issue?

Then you and the rest of the, I'll die in a ditch first, have no other choice but, do the only honourable thing left to you and your alleged conscience!

Leave the liberal coalition, NOW TODAY! You never ever were a fit, not in attitude nor proffered policy paradigms!

Hurry, go find and join Cory Bernard, who is now the loneliest candidate and needs company in paradise! Be a good chap and take show pony Tony and negatively geared to the eyeballs, Andrew with you!

And then wait for the parliament and democracy as we know it, to collapse!

Even so, there's at least 17 seats the length and breath of Australia that would welcome you and your ilk as candidates!

You and like minded one nation and Bob C(h)atter could exchange preferences in those seats, to ensure they remain "conservative property" and a (back) doorway back into government, in your own right.

Like that man of principle, paramount virtue and faith, conservative to the back teeth, Joh for PM, Lay Preacher, Joh Bjelke Petersen. And undoubtedly a perfect role model for you and the holier than thou, bible bashing brigade!? I mean and for heaven's sake. A lay preacher!

I wonder if a Norwegian born Kiwi, and most popular politician in Australia, would have run afoul of section 44 of the constitution?

You all have a nice day now, y'hear.

Well said, and it seems true that boomer 'conservatives' lost on taxes, social security, abortion, immigration, family, heritage and culture...so its probably time for a new generation of archetypal ultra conservatives to take the reins before things get too crazy.

"Norwegian born Kiwi"

Alan, I presume you are referring to the late Sir Joh Bjelke-Peterson. Three things to note.

1. Sir Joh was born in New Zealand, not Norway.
2. Sir Joh's ancestors were Danish, not Norwegian
3. Section 44 would not have applied to Sir Joh, as eligibility to be elected to the Queensland parliament is not governed by section 44 of the Constitution, which only sets out citizenship requirements for election to the Federal Parliament. Dual citizens can be (and often are) elected to a state parliament, unless the constitution or laws of the relevant state say they can't.

“This month we saw the culmination of a decade long war waged by the regressive left’s global movement within Australia.”

That's a good way of putting: a war by the Left against other Australians. We can no longer use the term 'fellow Australians' when it comes to the hysterical, thuggish Left in this country – particularly as most of the politicians are part of the thuggery. Ignorance and bullying are the order of the day.

We are losing the war against Islam, and we are losing the war against the Fifth Columnists – the mouth-almighty Left. It's a surprise that “ many never expected that the latest attack on our culture would come from the Liberal Party”, when the Coalition has never been anything but a 'liberal' party since Lefty Turnbull usurped the leader's position. But that's probably just because of my unrealistic supposition that the average Australian was worth something, which, clearly he/she is not.

Although Stephen Cable is on the button with the sorry state of Australian politics and its people, I'm not sure how he comes up with “Most Liberals are appalled that a man such as Malcolm Turnbull, who is clearly more at home in Labor, should have been given the leadership of the party.” He was aided in his usurpation by a majority of the party, which shows that most Coalition politicians are Left liberals. So-called Liberal voters might be “appalled”, but they don't count, and most of them are moving elsewhere. The Liberal party is doomed to being a true liberal party in the future. The only hope for Australia is growth by the Australian Conservatives if we are ever to have a choice again.

“ Idiotic policies are made under pressure, campaigns tanked, and years of member’s work flushed down the toilet.” Absolutely true. All done by people who are old enough to have more sense, but who are completely lacking in intelligence, history, and morality – aided by the truly awful, dingbat majority Australians.

This is the best article yet on the sorry state of Australia and Australians.

This article is a bit of a weep into a glass of milk. Alternative conservative parties are not unprecedented now.

We need a “Caligula” of our own, to banish some well known sexual deviants from Australia. Sexual perversion is not a uniquely Australian disease. It's time to realise this.

Homosexuality, once a club, but now an institution:

Aims of a more radical conservative wing, should be scripted thus:

The aims of conservative parties should be the repeal of antisocial laws, such as SSM

Privatise public schools, outlaw unions, with the ultimate aim to scuttle the teachers union, and bring those in control to account.
Defund totally, universities. Include an entry criteria, those with sexual misconduct convictions, will be banned outright. (This rule dovetails with anti homosexual laws)

Cut human rights contributions to $25, as did Duterte, and decouple from the UN.

Outlaw homosexuality and explicit porn.

Install a special operations unit in each state Police Service, to identify and prosecute homosexual activity. (Islam).

Ban the Gay Mardi Gras.

Increase Muslim immigration by improving relations, and implementing exclusive free trade deals with Indonesia: initiating visa free travel between the two countries

Censor the internet, and literature. (China).

Defund the ABC. Or softer option, rehire top management positions with Conservative appointees.

Reappoint sympathetic judges to the High Court. Ban homosexuals from the judiciary
Par sae.

The method-operandi for achievement, is to infiltrate organisational structures, and all halls of power, top to bottom. (LGBTQ terrorists).

JBSH: I stand corrected and apologise where I may have mislead anyone! And underlines, we can always believe everything published as gospel in a local rag?

So, Joh Bjelke Petersen, was born in New Zealand of Danish Parents then? Well that would have seen him possibly offend section 44 twice. Once as a foreign born Kiwi and another due to the fact his Danish Parents were themselves born elsewhere.

And again I could be corrected, But I understand the Title of Sir was withdrawn and as a result of revelations of the Fitzgerald inquiry?

That said, he was a highly intelligent man I voted for and admired in many respects; and for the things he did for Queensland! Never equalled or surpassed since or before!
