I did read your suggested link. “The Conversation” is a rag which is aimed specifically towards universities, (students).

If I had sufficient power to do so, I would defund universities. Jogging along with that process, I would persecute out of existence, Marxist rags such as the conversation.

Brandis fatuously claims that changing the definition of marriage would have no consequences for freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and parental rights. This is despite the fact that such basic rights have been suppressed in jurisdictions where the definition was changed, and despite the fact that Australian homosexual activists have requested at HRC public hearings the abolition of all exemptions under federal and state discrimination acts to religious bodies to employ and teach according to their doctrines.

Under current law, same-sex couples are already treated ‘equal’ to opposite-sex couples. Whereas many Australians assume that there is material discrimination against same-sex couples, few know about the 85 laws changed in 2008 giving same-sex couples equality under the law with heterosexual couples.

One does not have to be a rocket scientist to suspect that the unstated agenda of homosexual activists is not so-called marriage equality, but the destruction of the institution of marriage and all associated values. It is pertinent that lesbian journalist Masha Gessen actually admitted that homosexual activists are lying about their radical political agenda.
