Berejiklian's Government is not more honest than Labor, even mis-stating total funds available and the adequacy of lease-out proceeds.

Governments across the whole spectrum in Australia, are out of their depth. Foreign investment, especially from China, which is now Australia's biggest foreign investor, have swamped the Country's ability to see ahead with any foresight not inclusive of economics: and in this they obviously fail, (judging by this example).

As with Tokyo, a drive across the city will cost in excess of $200 in tolls. This will be the fate of transport user in Sydney, without a doubt, and is already heading in the same direction.

It's worse than that, The Metro's planned to send NW suburbs commuters on a huge detour to Chatswood - giving much longer journey times than a direct Barangaroo-Epping link would, needlessly duplicating one stretch of railway, and putting passengers to severe inconvenience during the line closure needed to convert the Epping to Chatswood section (that would have far more value as part of a Chatswood to Parramatta link).

Ah yes the eternal question. How do you know when a politician is telling porkies? Their lips move.

For sure and for certain the poles and wires did not need to be sold nor the massive energy price increases that followed!

NSW as represented by an over populated grid locked Sydney, and one of the most expensive cities in the world! Is both a developer's dream and a people's nightmare!

The truth about Rebuild NSW, is it has never ever ventured beyond Sydney!?

If it had there'd be urban rail links and rapid rail linking north south and west and fully decentralized development, supported by sane investment in your own people and their better ideas. Rather than endlessly resisting progress, based on this or than demented dogma or ideology, interspersed with this or that scandal, serial crisis or ubiquitous corruption?

Every year, we the people fork over some 70 plus billions just for the perverse pleasure of simply sustaining absolutely non essential roadblocks in the path of regional development i.e., state parliaments and their armies of equally non essential bureaucracies! Along with their survival make work/problematic strategies.

Those 70 annual billions could have paid for a complete continent circling very rapid rail system, fibre to the home NBN, and literally dozens of other quite massive nation building economy building projects, and without sacrificing even so much as a single state produced amenity! Let alone poles and wires!

And that's the real truth, and resisted to the last, jaw flapping, thundering state polly!

We are but one nation, not a endlessly divided rabble, all trying to row life boat Australia in every (please explain) direction simultaneously!

When the completely exposed facts (sharks circling the lifeboat) tell folks they need to change direction and row together, they need to be psychologically equipped, so as to be able to actually change direction!

Not run like, blind (follow the foul mouthed, control freak leader) lemmings, over the cliff!

As they say in the classics, it's not the fall that hurts, just the sudden stop at the bottom!

This weekend past we have Berejiklian opening the "new" Berry - Foxground bypass attended by the ever obsequious Member for Kiama, Gareth Ward.

We the peasants, were encouraged to walk this "amazing civil engineering feat" and revel in its finish being a year ahead of target and under budget due to the skills of this government.

What a sham, what hypocrisy; "quick look over here" to distract from the outrages privatization agenda of this failed government...this bypass will be lucky to open inside of 3 months, more likely 6 months yet.

Ah only 18 months 'til we toss them out but what will be left for the residents of NSW but higher power costs, higher land title searches and most expensive transport systems in the country.
