Abbas concessions kick-start Trump attempt to resolve Israel-Arab conflict : Comments

By David Singer, published 16/6/2017

However such negotiations – if conducted only between Abbas and Netanyahu - will assuredly fail and end up in the garbage bin of history.

Well, he could lay down roll over and beg for a tummy rub while he is at it?

The only way this endless expansion by Israel is going to stop, is by ramping up and ramping up again and again the commercial boycott! Until Netanyahu, also finds his inner angel, and seeks a path to prosperity through a different means!

That means being, thorium based energy provision, an electrified economy and deionization dialysis desalination, which when fully deployed will change the face of the Middle East forever; and for the better, for Arab and Jew alike!

Food and water, water and food! Create a healthy surplus of both! Then share it and be (what were we fighting for or over) friends forever!

But I am confident that the merely 98 year old Arab vs Jew conflict can finally be mediated by such a man with manifest subtlety, quiet insight, patience and diplomatic skills

not Obama, Jimmy Carter or the ghost of Nelson Mandela

Oh, Lawd! Why bother to comment except to say why bother to comment.

So, in an effort to bother to comment on an issue that has long since stopped being bothered to comment about, Trump joins a long line of US-political mainstream idiots who think they can broker some kind of peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians that requires the Palestinian acceptance of the slow genocide of the Palestinians as the basis for 'peace'.

But then, Australia can closely identify with this. This is just a replay of the slow genocide of our own indigenous people, who finally had to accept their own genocide as the basis for peace. And we all know how happily that turned out.

Pete

I propose a wrestling match between Khaled Mashal (Hamas leader) and Bibi-Yahoo. That would clinch the Peace Process once and for all.

But then again, not.

Of course, if Bibi were to lose, Israel would claim that an underground network of tunnels smuggled steroids into Israel to give Mashal an unfair advantage. So back to the Peace Process.

If Bibi were to win, that would be undeniable proof that the Israelis are indeed the Chosen People and God's inheritors of the State of Palestine ... I mean Israel. The Palestinians, being the sore losers they have been since 1948, would challenge the result. So back to the Peace Process.

So there is only one solution. A wrestling match: Trump versus Bibi. But will Trump take the dive? Bibi certainly won't. So back to the Peace Process.
