'Leaders'? Who wants to be led by politicians? Politicians are there to serve, and most of them do a very poor job of it.

The best advice I can give, is the advice I follow: throw the TV into the back yard, along with the "Australian", and source all news and commentary from the Internet; at the least there is still a shred of Democracy in it!

Your suggestions are correct BUT do not always expect a great improvement on the Net.

Try , for instance 'The Brisbane Times' the Fairfax online offering.

It is actually far worse that its' Newspapers.

An example , checkout the latest edition and read the Article of one of their regular contributors,John Harrison,University of Queensland head of Journalism.

This is from where the 'modern' crop of journalist are emerging.

Incidentally , do not attempt to post a comment critical of such an Article, it will most probably not be published

Leaders lead! Extrovert exhibitionists entertain! Name your pleasure, do you want to be entertained or led from this dead end reality that is our dying world, or be entertained so well you just don't notice how buggered it is, how many are dying or care?
Chose well, given doing both simultaneously is not doable! So, just select one or the other!

Who cares? You need to, as opposed to simply complaining about everything and everyone else!

Who leads, those elected by complaining numskulls, always providing they can put the perpetually pulsating pecker back in the owner's pants, if only to avoid going blind; then summon the will to get out of bed, preferably during daylight hours, sober up, rock up and vote!

And own the result! As opposed to endlessly complaining about it!
