The value of false expectations: Islamic State, lone wolf attacks, and Australia : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 9/9/2016

Those imaginative creatures scribbling for Rumiyah, an Islamic State publication that combines wishful thinking with equally wishful views of the world, decided to shine a spotlight on Australia.

As I cautioned on this thread http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?article=18509#329227 on 9/9:

"The author (irresponsibly?) appears to be positively goading lone wolfs, in Sydney or Melbourne, to Do Something."
...Posted by plantagenet, Friday, 9 September 2016 3:54:30 PM"

Did Kampmark's goading on 9/9/2016 contribute to 11/9/2016's "Sydney stabbing: Alleged terror attacker inspired by Islamic State, police say" http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-09-11/alleged-sydney-terror-attacker-inspired-by-is-minto-stabbing/7833870

Don't feel partly and inadvertently responsible Kampmark...

lone wolf's doing what Mohammed asked them to do. How dumb can we be. Police can't accurately describe the problem so have no hope of solution. In the meantime many innocents will be slain. Even the authorities in France know they are stuffed and we continue not to discrimate in our immigration policy. How do such dumbed down people get to such power? Our grandchildren are going to amazed at how blind and treacherous our academia and the political class are today.

Anyone watch tonight's 'A Current Affair'?

After the stabbing in North Queensland a few weeks back and this new stabbing attack in Minto I believe we're about to get a sharp rise in terrorist attacks.
It's about to all get very serious I think.

The news story said "Police made a tactical decision to drive into a side street to lead the attacker away".
Did anyone see the actual video? Lol
The media are like a branch of the establishment never reporting the truth and this proves it.
They should have reported "Police made a tactical decision to run away like girls".

Not to be too harsh on them, as they weren't the ones with the knife who were putting citizens in danger but they should have had guns at the ready upon arriving at the scene.
They should have just shot him when he approached them with the knife after reports of a terrorist stabbing.
