At least Mandelson resisted taking his fist to the leave votes, noting instead an anger in the population against the governing classes.

Finally someone able to cut through the political propaganda the inevitable grandstanding, the anger, the BS and the misappropriated blame game; to finally marshall the viewable facts and understand what has just happened and some of the likely unwelcome and unseen outcomes.

Much of the majority Leave result was about Britain retaking control of its borders, even if the largely small "l" liberal Merkel dominated EU wanted to welcome as many Muslims as possible.

Really about cheap workers for Germany - but thats another issue.

So in the runup to our own Election Australians remain worried about their Borders - don't want regional/world bodies like the UN or our Greens, wanting:

- to take in more boatloads or

- Muslims from the perpetual wars of the Middle East.

Turnbull should not indulge his big money, small l liberal tendencies by being too welcoming to those who rate Sharia Law higher than Australia's secular laws.

ASIO should now bury any (end of 2015) notions of Obama/Merkel political correctness, because Turnbull has had to harden up toward the Dutton line against too many Muslims coming here too fast.

Returning to the Greens the main refugee advocate, Sarah Hanson-Young, is not a Senator for South Australia but the Senator for Nauru.

Suggest people vote Greens Last.

Yes plantagenet the silent majority have had a ball swinging their new found baseball bat, & are looking for more targets.

Politicians & other elites would be well advised to mind their P&Qs for a while, lest they become the next.

This has been the best spectator sport for years.
