If we just took a step back and watched history and intensely evil outcomes trying to repeat themselves, we'd be forced to act; and while it was still possible with a timely surgical strike (a cruise missile delivered while he slept, through his bedroom window) that limited the likely collateral damage to a few dozen as opposed to the millions and their many towns and cities, this completely corrupt dictator could destroy in an unholy alliance with other Godless dictators?

Imagine if we'd the balls and the technology to remove Herr Hitler before the night of glass and the subsequent Jewish genocide, how different a vastly more righteous world could be today?

It is indeed a sad day. But taking to the streets isn't the answer. I'm not saying they shouldn't; merely that it's likely to be futile.

Turkey is still a democracy; the people need to vote him out at the next election.

Not a bad article but you're forgetting one thing: the AK party was voted in via democratic elections.

Its blatently obvious that Turkey is becoming a real not de facto dictatorship.

No doubt how the people of Turkey vote at the next election will not matter one iota as its how the ballots will get dealt with and counted that will matter the most.

10 to 1 says the Turkish elections will get postponed or the existing M will get returned possibly with an even greater % of the vote.
