The problem is that politicians are slowly realising they don't need to appeal to the people that actually follow politics.

Federal governments talk about: Boat People; foreign policy; Cardin tax, increasing electricity scary policies; mining taxes.

People can't see what politicians one line statements do, or when will it happen.

Media deliberately bore listeners to death over political topics. Politicians looking like bullying school teachers, forcing their lessons onto students as though everything being stated was important.
Some children enjoyed schooling, many children didn't enjoy schooling. I assume children that enjoyed schooling, also enjoy politics.

Education taught sensible people that information is often pointless.
Political news stories: debated topics almost never happen; information is poorly explained; governments are run by leaders who act child-like aggression during parliament question time. Parliament question time looks theatrical.

I rarely hear anything coming out of politicians mouths that was worth remembering. I only bother to quote politicians as excuse makers for market slumps.

Democracy is a blame government law makers for future market crashes, government bad regulating rules capitalism.
