Peace can only be achieved by negotiation, and the Palestinians are hiding behind blatantly unacceptable pre conditions.

If the French can get the Palestinians to drop their pre conditions then well done, otherwise it is just more pointless gesture politics to appease their restless Muslims.

How about you turn your hissy fit towards the vicious killers that run the dictatorship that is Gaza, or is that too much of an inconvenient truth?

ttbn, a war is never really over until you win the hearts and minds of former enemies. And what Israel is doing is just the very opposite!

Perhaps you have trouble with your ears or vision? As the ones paying a price for israel's military expansion/land grab, are entirely innocent civilians on both sides.

We have had righteous wars, wars of liberation and in the defence of basic freedom! None of which can be applied to Israel's land grab, never ending occupation and the collateral damage/slaughter of innocents!

And if Israel is not happy with the "resistance" and some of its less than heroic methods? Israel is the Author of these crimes, which can only ever intensify when folk are pushed past the brink into insanity, are are given nothing left to lose except their hopeless, worthless lives!

For mine, that is not the answer when the commercial boycotts were all that was proving effective, and should be seriously ramped up to include everything coming out of Israel!

There are no "hearts and minds" to win in the case of maniacal Muslims intent on wiping out Israel; there are no "innocent civilians" among Israel's enemies, only potential and actual murderers. There is no uniformed, recognisable enemy in Palestine for Israel to target. The entire Middle East is intent on killing Israelis and wiping out the only democracy there. It is Israel's right to kill any mindless murders who threaten them. You are foolishly siding with people alien to us, and damning people who are like us.
