I just don't see how starving the civilian population to death is going to do anything but harm as indeed will be the denial of basic medicine to minors! Which is the visible outcome of current strategies?

I think North Korea's bluster and bluff must be called and responded to with a military build up of the sort that usually proceeds an invasion.

Even if that should create concern in china, which seems to continue to offer tacit support for this regime.

After freezing bank accounts and forbidding travel, what else is available? Perhaps a few hardliners with too much influence, need to have their influence diminished by a few cruise missiles coming at them through bedroom windows, while they are dreaming?

It worked on Gaddafi, who did a complete 180!
