actually a lot of ISIS oil is going to Turkey, a major supporter of ISIS.

Rubbish, the U.S. Has already bombed the piss and pick handles out of ISIS oil fields, what it is not going to do is bomb those held by the U.S. supported "moderates" and makes the distinction. something it seems not given to the Author/troll from St Petersburg?
Where the unbombed oil finds its way to is anybody's guess? Maybe the Russians are buying it and using the superior profit margins to offset some of their losses? Even so the price of oil continues to go down and has hit another new time low. what hasn't matched that is the price we are gouged at the pump. and given the new low, shouldn't we be building the missing stockpile? And if not why not? Perhaps the exclusively profit motivated oil companies are in league with ISIS and are trying to harm us economically? Cause that 's the net effect of sustained high oil prices! I mean If gas cost around half in the U. S., why are we paying American oil companies double? It can't all be fuel excise surely? Rhrosty. Posted by Rhrosty, Tuesday, 8 December 2015 9:58:59 AM

It's not the reluctance of the U.S - it's the reluctance of one man with too much power he abuses and misuses: President Obama, brought up among Muslims and with obvious warm feelings for them, Obama has reduced the country which used to be the leader and protector of the Free World to the state of warm porridge. With a decent President, preferably a Republic (only a Republican, actually) the world would now be free of the Islamist threat - at least until another socialist was elected President, and surely, hopefully, two terms of Obama has taught the American people a lesson.

Hi there TTBN...
My friend you're so right ! Mr OBAMA is the worst US President since my Vietnam days, when I first began following US Politics. While it is true, he did try to establish a complete health scheme, similar to that of our Medicare for the entire country. Nevertheless his excellent work in that area, has been completely overshadowed by his reluctance or inability to prosecute a realistic operation to rid the world of this murderous ISIS vermin ? Why ? @Armchair Critic. I am afraid that your plea will fall on deaf ears. The vast majority of people who comment on this site are impervious to evidence, or any argument that fails to reinforce their biases. As you say, Zero Hedge has long published material showing how Syrian and Iraqi oil goes to Turkey where the on-sales are controlled by a company owned by Erdogan's son. The Russians presented detailed evidence last week, but of course, if it is Russian it must be suspect. The Americans on the other hand would never lie to us would they?
The declassified DIA document from 2012 and Seymour Hersh's The Redirection article from 2007 are also useful reading for the what and why of US foreign policy in the area, and the inestimable Pepe Escobar is obligatory reading. Not that any of this type of analysis ever darkens the pages of OLO: its typical readership as judged from the comments would have apoplexy. Damage the Russians have done to the terrorist organisations in Syria in 10 weeks has made it obvious the US led coalition was just pretending to fight some of them. Seems some influential Turks are very upset about their businesses of selling cheap oil stolen from areas controlled by terrorist organisations being now less than half of what they were. Also not surprisingly, seems Israel has been a major customer for this. The main objective of the US has been to destabilise and eventually overthrow the democratically elected government widely supported by Syrians and install puppet regimes more accommodating to their own interests. Has been effectively largely using "Foreign Legions " fighting on its behalf.. Covertly beating up anti Muslim attitudes then secretly creating and supporting radical Muslim groups. The Syrian military is now managing to destroy them thanks to air cover provided by the Russians. Less income from stolen oil will reduce capability of the terrorist organisations to continue their fight.

Hi there TTBN...
There's no doubt about it, he's a real piece of work is our 'silver tongue' US President Mr B OBAMA golfer extraordinaire ? The amount of golf he plays, all at the tax payers expense, flying from DC to Florida for a weekend of golf in Air Force One, it's little wonder he plays with a handicap of 'scratch' ! I've heard an ordinary 'round of eighteen holes' costs the US taxpayer about a million and a half US Dollars. Not a bad gig, if you can get it by all accounts. While many countries of the West, are nervously awaiting another terrorist attack, the most powerful man of the free world, plays a round of golf ! A very shrewd military strategy, ISIS must be scratching their heads in collective amazement wondering when and if he'll launch a ground attack, using this very curious tactic, known as the 'chipping' or 'short game' strategy ? It's little wonder ISIS command are bewildered ? Posted by o sung wu, Tuesday, 8 December 2015 8:24:54 PM

The West has no right to be in Syria. Putin has all but destroyed ISIS. Turkey was stealing Syrian oil to finance ISIS.
Syria has now deployed Russian S300 missiles and said it will shoot down NATO planes on their territory. Israel has attacked 4 Syrian vehicles carrying missiles. Russia has its doomsday plane at the ready and is deploying more missiles in readiness for war. Wake up people, this is serious stuff. The West is bringing on WW3. Joel Skousen says they stir up North Korea next to bring on a conflict with China. Malcolm Fraser before his death gave us many warnings about the USA trying to surround China. In 2012 Putin took control of their Rothschild Central Bank and nationalised his energy. This was the beginning of Putin demonization. The West is run by psychopaths who care not for humanity. Winning at all costs is their only objective to achieve their New World Order. Posted by Arjay, Wednesday, 9 December 2015 7:04:32 AM

Hi there ARJAY...
I cannot dispute much of what you've asserted in your most recent piece, my precise knowledge of world strategic affairs is limited to what I care to read in the media, therefore I can't claim to have any specific knowledge either way ? But when you mentioned Malcolm FRASER; well this is the erudite former Aussie PM who was singularly responsible for ensuring that Mr Robert MUGABE took power, post independence in the former Rhodesia. Hitherto referred to as the 'bread basket' of the African continent! It was the same Mr MUGABE who slaughtered tens of thousands of his own countrymen and women. And decided to drive out the few white farmers, who did so much to improve and value-add to the Rhodesian economy. Guaranteeing, this once splendid country was reduced to nothing more than an (emblematic) burnt out shambles with accelerating hyper-inflation. Sure Mr FRASER will 'never be forgotten' for his treachery, his duplicity and his betrayal of the entire Rhodesian population, by those very few white Rhodesians who are still 'clawing out' a modest living there. As well as the many millions of indigenous Black Rhodesians, who's excellent living conditions, prospects of full employment, assurances of a good (free) education, self-sufficiency and complete medical care, were provided gratis, by the white farmers who turned that beautiful country, into the enviable, 'Bread Basket' of the African Continent. o sung wu, Malcolm Fraser was not the same man 50 yrs ago as opposed to the last few years of his life. He resigned from the Liberal Party in disgust.

Hi (again) ARJAY...
Any good works that may be attributed to the late Malcolm FRASER is far outweighed by the treachery he occasioned against the peoples of the once great Nation of Rhodesia ! Posted by o sung wu, Thursday, 10 December 2015 1:37:31 PM
