It appears the Saudis, despite being educated here in the US, have neglected their capital market & economic classes as we are witnessing the E&P model self-correcting itself.

You are probably right, but instead of a Dickensian oration, you could have just said that you think the American economy is going down the gurgler.

Perhaps governments should look a withdrawing mining licences for those who cut back on mining activities.A little competition often spurs activity! After all -who owns what?

Why would I care what the US is doing when Australia holds all the Gold? You can't dictate what you can't control! What you have access to today may be different from what is available tomorrow.
