Can’t we discuss this like grown-ups? Meaningful debate about Comcare reform : Comments

The workers compensation scheme covering federal public servants and others is in need of reform.

Wendy, the distinguishing feature of grown-ups - unlike children and public servants so-called - is that they are responsible for their actions.

If government employees were to pay for their own income and health insurance on the open market, that would solve the problem in a grown-up way, wouldn't it?

In the absence of that, there is no solution but arbitrary, self-interested and ridiculous claim, and arbitrary, self-interested and ridiculous counter-claim.

It is those squalling for open-ended entitlements from the public teat who need to grow up. Typical of the so-called public servants to be even having this conversation - all on the public purse of course.

Perhaps you should consider engaging in some productive activity some time for a change?
