Fortunately for the Egyptians, their military has some sense and it pulled a coup and instituted military rule and martial law. But how long it can hold on to power is anyone's guess.

The military in Turkey was instrumental in controlling the mullahs and modernising Turkey after 1918, , but in Turkey too, the population has elected another hard line Muslim who wants to create a Caliphate. Turkey is a lot more concerned with the Kurds, who are the common enemies of Turkey and ISIS. Jihadis keep entering Syria through Turkey, even though Turkey pretends it is trying to stop them. There is supposed to be a sign in the "Arrivals" area of Ankara Airport saying "This way to the Jihad."

Europe can hardly help Libya, because the stupid Euros are having enough trouble with their home grown Jihadis killing police officers, soldiers, journalists and "free speech" delegates. Isn't multiculturalism grand? Just remember that us "racists" told you so.

For the third time in 100 years, western civilisation is at war with a political ideology which seeks to rule the world. We defeated International Socialism, even though plenty of western academics were it's adherents, attracted to it's messages of International brotherhood and the destruction of the profit motive. We defeated National Socialism, but it was one hell of a fight.

Now we are fighting Islam, only this time a lot of people have not figured that out yet. So many people are so enamoured with the concept of the brotherhood of man, and multicultural utopia, that they refuse to see an enemy when he is making it quite clear that he wants to crush you. We are probably going to see a lot more Muslim countries go the ISIS way, because too many people think that the Americans are worse than ISIS or Al Qaida. One wonders how long it will be before they are begging the yanks to save them?
