Gough Whitlam with very faint praise : Comments

It is difficult for those of us who were the beneficiaries to pick those we endorse the most. Education must be high on the list.

It was gratifying to hear the fulsome comments made by persons on the opposite side .

Shortly after , the naysayers began regurgitating the same criticisms which were used to " justify " the dismissal . They alleged economic mismanagement , referring to Khemlani and the Loans Affair without explaining who this person was or precisely what was the Loans Affair .

It reminds one of Jonathan Swift's epigraph :

"Whenever a true genius appears , you will know him by this sign : All the dunces will arise in a confederacy against him ".

most praise come from overpaid taxpayer funded employees who enjoy very high standards of living at the cost of young unemployed and pensioners not privileged as having their snouts in the trough.
