Fiji must set high bar for healthy democracy : Comments

The overwhelming result just shows, B.A., should have trusted the will of the people from day one, and saved an awful lot of unnecessary trouble and harmful economic contraction!
One can hope a salutatory lesson has indeed been learned, and the former dictator, becomes just what Fiji has long needed, to actually set a very high bar for a very healthy democracy, free of the former corruption, this was supposed to be all about!
And on that score, the jury is still out!
One can also hope that B.A., becomes the very uniting influence Fiji has now needed for virtual decades!
A clearly confected sham democracy won't cut it!
