I suggest the Israeli blitzkrieg over Gaza would be a fitting topic for your next piece.

Some suggestions:

- Three Israeli's were murdered more than a week ago but Israel has killed more than 88 people of Gaza over the last few days for no Israelis killed over that period...

- Its probable that Israel Gaza policy involves a ratio (some would say Butcher's bill) of killing 50 Arabs for each Israeli death. So with the current airstrikes Israel may stop at killing 150 (mainly civilians) in Gaza.

- But probably more than 150...if Israel launches the ground invasion of Gaza - a traditional airstrike-tank approach - using drones, F-16s, Apache helicopters and Israeli ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkava_tank ) tanks.

I've suggested to David Singer that he write his own take http://forum.onlineopinion.com.au/thread.asp?article=16479 - which may differ from yours a tad.
