Sanctions involving gas supplies to Europe will force Russia to extend pipelines to China , and set back even further reform in Russia.

I can't remember a situation when Russians were responsible for shortage of gas supplies, but there are many examples of how Ukraine was stealing gas from Europe or closed transit just because it was unable to pay for gas and decided to take ours and turned us into hostages. That happened a few times and I believe in the future they will also do the same until we find another way to get energy bypassing Ukraine. Taking into account these facts and the current situation in Ukraine when its government has no control over country and couldn't guarantee Europe stable supplies, we really have to look for ways to exclude Ukraine from our gas supply scheme.

The Keystone Pipeline is a pipeline that runs from the oil sands of Alberta to the Gulf of Mexico. It runs from Alberta, via Saskatchewan then south to Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. There is a branch to Illinois.

A proposal to add an additional line from Nebraska to Alberta was rejected by the US EPA due to the damage it would do to the Nebraska Sandhills.

Thank you Agro,
Obviously we must not upset the other ecology of the sandhills. Wouldn't Obama crap himself if he ever visited the Gold Coast.
Lol
