Civilians must come first in Syria : Comments

The death toll from the Syrian conflict has climbed to a staggering 120 000 dead with 6-7 million people becoming refugees or being internally displaced.

I think it has got past the need of any positive action from the "West".
I am inclined now to think that we should arm both sides and egg them on.
The more they are weakened the less trouble they will be to us.

Syria seems to be an internal argument about which branch of Islam is
to be dominant.
Whoever wins that argument they will be our enemy in the permanent war.
It is so ordained.
