Sorry, don't agree with this thesis at all. I don't believe there is any evidence to suggest ALL the 1% mistreat their children; just the opposite in fact.
They want to give their children the world (literally). It's everyone else's children they don't give a damn about.
This is all about tribalism and clannishness. Some of us might care as much about starving kids on the other side of the world as they do about their own, but almost everyone would be more likely to chip in for the poor family down the street that lost everything in a fire, than someone who had the same thing happen in another country.
These people are raised to believe (like all good RW libertarians) that everyone should look after themselves. Anyone who isn't as rich as they are, only have themselves to blame.

In a credit based economy, the only way new money can enter the system is through debt -which is then multiplied (or brought forward in time) by the fractional reserve banking system and compound interest.
IOW, for every new billionaire, everyone in the world -and their children- have to go into debt for a billion dollars.
This is particularly evident in IT. There just isn't any better way to make money than by publishing online. You can sell a single idea a million times with zero extra overhead.
It's even better than starting your own religion.

Nature has made us competitive. To overcome scarcity and threats humans had to be become shrewd, competitive and ruthless. It will take some time to evolve into something more appropriate.

Too true Yebiga - I would have to clarify that it's not just dicks that are the problem. Women are 50% of the problem too! In this competitive, primitive culture, c++ts are an equal partner in crime.
