Life expectancy gap : Comments

Today 3,479 Australian are aged over 100 years. Such people are a rare breed in Australia but rarer still are males who manage to achieve this landmark.

I saw the light and got divorced in 1989. Been very happily single ever since.

I'm sorry, but I don't see the problem about men dying younger generally.
Surely that means more women left in the world, which can only be a good thing :)

No, seriously, I believe the current statistics show that married men live longer than single men or widowers, so surely that means women are a good sort to have around?
And when all you guys whinge about women, just remember your mums...

Also we would probably find that more men are killed or injured in work related accidents.If it were women who were dying younger and copping most of the injuries there would a call for a royal commission

Well Karlx, there is no Royal Commission into why all those younger (and older) women are injured and die as a result of domestic violence either...
