Labor has to learn the lessons of its last term in office if it wants another.

Well yes, but the real cause was their own disunity, and a small cohort that simply couldn't or wouldn't accept the umpire's decision and move on!
And instead, white-anted from within, throughout the 2010 election; and for the entire term of the last parliament.
That said, some visionary policies, and equally visionary funding paradigms, to turn them into reality, rather than more of the same, (aspirations,) wouldn't hurt!
The other more pressing problem for labor, is the complete lack of the requisite testicular fortitude; without which, they will never adopt the visionary reforms, they and the country needs to prosper!
I'm glad Mr Rudd has gone, given his continuing divisive presence, would have been as comfortable for labor, as a full body sunburn, followed immediately, by a full body wax job! Quote, unquote.

It is not logically possible to declare one infinitely bad government worse than another infinitely bad government, so I will be illogical, and declare the Whitlam government the worst ever.

Contemplating that Rudd has rid us of Gillard, and then of himself, and Bob Brown has become a thing of the past, generates a warm, comfortable feeling in relation to current politics.
