Yes and no, Society is not at some God like level, or if it is its more Valhalla than Nirvana and that those who pose as beings at higher level really are trying to garner personal benefit in their group (sect may be better). The point of laws is it implies a mechanism to manage contention and I agree with Churchill, who had to deal with the hardest of real world, democracy (and its laws) is crap but alternatives make it like Ambrosia.
