Is a third intifada a fait accompli? : Comments

By Marika Sosnowski, published 7/8/2013

However, the Knesset realises that it must make a deal with the Palestinians sooner rather than later, or the idea of a Jewish state will be undercut by having a majority Palestinian population.

This is another interesting and though-provoking piece on this complex and difficult situation. It makes a refreshing change from the knee-jerk partisanship from both sides that so often passes for comment on the Middle East.

Can we have more articles from Marika please?

To Rhian : Yes, that’s safest. Avoid extremes. Take a middle ground between the firefighter and the arsonist. Help rake up the ashes afterwards.

Dr Sosnowski and Mr Kerry have omitted some first-base truths in order to replace justice with a an always-unsustainable moment of resigned acceptance.

Here are truths that can’t be avoided without racism showing:
o No race is born to be Übermenschen.
o No race is born to be Untermenschen.
o No two-state solution will last longer than a brief instant if it mandates that one race be the Übermenschen and all the rest be the Untermenschen.

It’s Übermenschen-Untermenschen – overlords-submen - if it means –
• Restricting the flow of goods to one while the flow to the other including ordnance is unrestricted.
• Allowing only one to maintain military forces.
• Allowing only one to maintain full and free international relations and alliances.
• Allowing one to enter the territory of the other without a visa but not reciprocated.
• Allowing either to dictate the legal structure of the other.
• Allowing either to foist or retain settlements on the other’s territory.
• Allowing anybody to live in either’s territory without being accepted as a national, subject to that territory’s laws.
• Allowing either to abridge the right of the other to accept immigrants or visitors.

A two-state deal based on racial equality may last a year or two, though only a secular non-racist one-state democracy would last longer. If the Zionists consider their race too “special” to live as equals with others they may end up with an exasperated world leaving them to Sharia law.
