The 'organised working class' is doing very nicely, thank you, having prospered under Howard and coped reasonably well with the policy backflips and daft compromises cobbled together under Rudd and Gillard. Most of them have been able to afford a decent education, and now realise that a stable and economically growing economy is a prerequisite for any kind of personal choice and financial security.

The Labor policy of throwing money at whatever group makes the most noise is not sustainable unless somebody's prepared to make that money in the first place: hopefully under a Liberal government there will be renewed incentives for people to do so.

Know this: the Corporate Media, headed by Murdoch who wants the NBN to fall over so his Fox Meja can achieve a monopoly, is working overtime to ensure Abbott is elected.

Across Australia, the Fox Executives are working to bring Rudd down so that Big Business can run the Government again as they did when Howard was the Prime Minister. This farce is called 'democracy'!

Any Australian who buys and consumes Faux News products is, unwittingly perhaps, a traitor to our democratic Australian nation.

I was planning to ask you who Julia Gillard was as it seems most Australians have suffered trauma related amnesia and blocked these tragic memories. Then I read the post from David G and thought hey, there are still people out there who would believe absolutely any yarn you present to them. One picture of a smiling Gough Whitlam with the following comment sums up the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd government perfectly. Gough is saying: "Why am I so happy? Because I will no longer be regarded as the worst prime minister Australia has ever had."

Rudd was first removed by the Labor Caucus because he was incompetent. Gillard became unpopular because of her incompetence as a prime minister. Caucus following Keating's dictum the one horse that is always trying is self-interest returned to Rudd in a desperate attempt to save their seats.

What now defies belief is that perhaps the most economically incompetent Prime Minister ever to hold office in Australia is now trying convince the Australian people that he is the "economic" answer to Australia's future problems (which he and Gillard have mostly created). Much as he may dislike it a three word phrase sums up Rudd perfectly. "Tax and spend. Tax and spend. Tax and spend."
